Lucan Harries Club Gear.
Our club colours are red and black. Our singlet and tee-shirt are red with a black stripe going across the body from the opposite shoulder, showing the distinctive club crest, with Lucan Harriers written on the back. All members are requested to wear club colours when racing.
As well as the club singlet & tee-shirt for racing, we have a wide range of gear available to compliment your running wardrobe, whether you are training or racing. There are hoodies, polo shirts, dri-fit tee long sleeve tops & backpacks.
A number of times a year, our gear manager takes orders, which will be highlighted well in advance.
Dublin Marathon 2018 – Sunday 28th October
What a day for the Club! We had 51 Club Members taking part in the Marathon and more club members stewarding between Knockmaroon Gate in the Phoenix Park and Sarsfield Road. To all those who were stewarding and supporting around the route – thank you so much, it meant a huge amount to those taking part.
On the running front there were some very strong performances. First Lucan Harrier home was Will Byrne who finished in 2.53.10 and he was followed by Shane O’Keeffe in 3.08.48, Pat O’Dwyer in 3.13.31, David Trunk in 3.23.33 and Rob Brannigan in 3.24.25. First Lucan lady home was Lisa Ward in a time of 3.29.23 closely followed by Lorraine Heffernan who achieved her bucket list of running a 3.30 marathon with a finishing time of 3.29.25! Next to finish was Danijela Klopotan in 3.32.57 followed by Colm Munnelly in 3.40.17 and Jason Barrett in 3.46.32. James Casserly participated with his Dad and got a sub-4 marathon in a time of 3.58.25. Eileen O’Brien took a break from a family wedding in Limerick to dash up to Dublin to run the Marathon! She was rewarded with second in her age category in a time of 4.00.25. Next in was Tricia Gough in 4.07.13, Oliver Freeman in 4.21.25, Helen McGinnity in 4.23.42, Amanda Breen in 4.24.09, Orna Thompson in 4.24.10, Sinead Fleet in 4.27.13, Allan Mburu finishing in 4.27.16 and Clare Wright in 4.34.57.
